Wed 11 January - Painting for Landscapes with Deborah O'Hare
Learn how to paint fabrics for use in landscapes. A fun day getting messy and nothing much to bring. Deborah will charge a small fee for use of paints and fabric. You can bring your own but she will not guarantee the results of different paints.

Tues 14 Feb - Workshop
Come and bring your own work. For new members this is one of the few chances you-get to know other members without the restraints of formal teaching.

Tues 14 March - Pretty meets Practical. Smocking with Patricia Ruffell
Patricia is a local lady who was recommended to us On pleated cotton you will learn 2 smocking patterns and be given ideas for future use. You may buy a kit or pleat your own fabric beforehand. - Details supplied with booking.

Tues 11 April - Elizabethan Knot Gardens with Annette Bolton
A requested return of Annette. This course will use a variety of stitches. Come and learn some new ones or renew acquaintance with ones you had forgotten.

Wed 17 May - A Heart shaped Jacobean Keeper with Beppi Berlin
Another of Beppi's wonderful ideas. This was chosen by the members attending Beppi's last class. Knowing Beppi it will be different enough from the August day to challenge us all.

Wed 14 June - 3D flair with Lorna Bateman
Learn a variety of 3 dimensional stitches to create raised and textured work. For anyone who hasn't tried this the effect is amazing and you will use some very unusual stitches. - bullions; drizzle stitch; picots; cast on stitch; double sided cast on - to name a few.

Tues 11 July - Crewel Work Embroidery with Sue Hawkins
A choice of 3 small projects. You can choose On the day. Material packs £5

Wed 16 Aug - Taster Day with various members
Several members will give you a chance to try different techniques. Move around the tables as you wish So far we have raised stitches; goldwork; chicken scratchings; and snakes in Lace. More volunteers welcome

Tues 19 Sept -The Three Kings with Clare Clensy
Another requested item. The three Kings can be gold, silver or copper. Made from one of Clare's beautiful kits. A fun mix of goldwork and embroidery. Book by mid July please to give Clare time to order enough supplies for the kit of your choice. (Kits £23 50) Something special for your Christmas decorations!

Wed 11 Oct - A Daisy Book wrap with Angie Hughes
Experiment with texture and paint using tissue, lace, scrim, gesso and machine embroidery (hand if you wish). Make embellishments and cords for your book wrap.

Wed 1 November- Workshop and AGM
Please come to the AGM We do need your input to make the Guild work for you.

Tues 21 Nov - Pulled Thread Embroidery with Monica Jarrett

Wed 6 Dec – Workshop, Ploughman's Lunch and talk.
Our annual party. The talk in the afternoon will be “Armenian Needlelace: my Mother's Heritage” by Pat Trott. This event is for members only.
